WE MUST OBEY GOD RATHER THAN MAN!!!!!!!
PETER OBEYING GOD JESUS CHRIST!!
***********************************

Peter declared: “We must obey God rather than men! The God of our fathers raised Jesus…” (Acts 5:29-30)

ARMAN’S REPLY: READ ACTS 5:28 WHICH IS GOD THEY ARE TALKING TOO?

ON THAT CHAPTER THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SPREAD THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST…

Acts 5:28 “We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name(THIS NAME THE NAME OF JESUS THE GOD),” he said. “Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.”

29 Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!

MEANING THEY HAVE TO OBEY GOD..NOT HUMAN BEINGS…THEY HAVE TO OBEY JESUS CHRIST.

HAVE YOU SEEN [[THIS NAME]]?

Acts 5:28 “We gave you strict orders not to teach in [[[this name ]]]] (THIS NAME THE NAME OF JESUS THE GOD)

No, Peter is not obeying “God Jesus Christ’ he was saying to obey “God…The God of our fathers raised Jesus…” (Acts 5:29-30).
Para sa karagdagang ikaliliwanang e basahin ninmyo ang Acts 4: 18.

    P.S:
In the bible I am using , Acts 5:28 read as ” Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us..
Now let us read Acts 4: 18 to clarify to whom this “in this name” referred to. Again in the bible I am using…Acts 4:18 read as “And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.”

    Salamat po.

The God of Israel’s patriarchs raised up Jesus (Acts 5:30). What is the purpose of raising Jesus by God? And who is this God of Israel’s patriarchs? Was it Jesus or someone else? In Deuteronomy 18:18, this is stated one of God’s prophet:

“I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him.” (NKJV)

God raised a Prophet like Moses. This prophet is none other than Jesus (Acts 3:17-23). Take notice that God said these words:

“…will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him.”

By obeying therefore to Jesus, the sent Prophet from God—Jesus— is tantamount to obeying God who sent Him. What will happen, then, if someone refuses to follow God’s Messenger Jesus? Take these words of God from the Bible:

“If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” (Deut. 18:19).

By obeying Christ Jesus does not mean obeying Him as God, but rather obey Him because He has the words/commands from God as attested in Deuteronomy 18:18-19.

What is the purpose of God in sending His Christ or Prophet? The Lord Jesus said this:

“I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.” (John 12:50)

Surely, God has put His commands to His Prophet, the Lord Jesus Christ, to bring eternal life to the “dead” or the sinners. Who are the sinners? We are (Romans 3:23).
